Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IrishLegalDocs.ie ("the Service", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
IrishLegalDocs.ie provides custom generated legal documents and automated contract analysis. Documents are generated using solicitor-reviewed templates tailored to Irish law. The Service is operated from Dublin, Ireland.
2. Not Legal Advice
The Service does not provide legal advice. Documents and analysis reports are generated using document generation technology and solicitor-reviewed templates. They are a professional starting point, not a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor. For complex, contested, or high-value matters, we strongly recommend consulting a solicitor. We are not a law firm, and no solicitor-client relationship is created by your use of the Service.
3. Document Generation
When you purchase a document, you complete a questionnaire providing the information needed to generate it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. The document is generated based on your answers and delivered by email as a PDF and DOCX within the stated timeframe (typically 1 hour). Once delivered, the document is yours to use, edit, and distribute as you see fit.
4. Contract Analysis
When you upload a contract for analysis, our reads and analyses the clauses. The analysis report includes risk assessments, explanations, and suggested alternative language. The analysis reflects the system's assessment at the time of generation and should not be relied upon as legal advice. We delete uploaded contracts within 24 hours of report delivery.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in euros and include VAT. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect orders already placed. Subscription customers are billed monthly and can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Refunds
If you are not satisfied with a document or analysis, contact us at hello@irishlegaldocs.ie within 24 hours of delivery. We will work to resolve the issue. If we cannot, we will provide a full refund. Refunds for subscription payments are not available for the current billing period.
7. Accuracy and Limitation of Liability
While we make every effort to ensure our documents comply with current Irish legislation, we do not guarantee that any document is suitable for your specific circumstances. Laws change, and individual situations vary. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific document or analysis in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
8. Intellectual Property
The website design, code, brand, and template library are the intellectual property of IrishLegalDocs.ie. Documents generated for you are yours - you receive full ownership of the output. You may not resell, redistribute, or white-label the generated documents as a competing document generation service.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious files, to attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access, or to reverse-engineer the document generation process.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
13. Contact
